Adobe and Apollo

There is a nice Apollo application called Finetune Desktop and related with Finetune.com.
You can create your own playlist (and you should to continue and listen to your own playlist) with around 40 numbers. You can share your playlist with other people or listen to other people there playlist.
Have a 'listen' to TheWeb's playlist or on the Wii Finetune Player.
Finally you can run the embedded Flash movie by clicking on the image beneath. Nice tool.

Adobe Releases Alpha of Apollo

Adobe Systems has announced the first public alpha release of Apollo, its cross-operating system run-time for Web developers. Apollo is the code name for Adobe's development system that enables Web developers to leverage their existing skills in Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, and AJAX, to build and deploy RIAs on the desktop.

You can also find some nice manual, which is needed I think to start with!

And there is a nice demo what eBay is doing with Apollo today.

MSDN just launched a content site for beginning and amateur developers.
If you're learning to program, or just want to make sure your foundational knowledge is up to scratch, it's certainly worth checking out.

You can choose between Windows or Web development. It sure looks alike as the pages from Visual Studio Express. In fact its the same but within another lay out.

How To Install VMware Server On A Fedora Core 6 Desktop

With VMware Server you can create and run guest operating systems ("virtual machines") such as Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, etc. under a host operating system. This has the benefit that you can run multiple operating systems on the same hardware which saves a lot of money.Wundering if this will be usable for an Ubuntu box. Let go one and see: we will bring report in some days!

In fact after going to the bottom of this article there is already an article about VMWare for Ubuntu 6.06 LTS as with this link ;-)

A fast way to install ATI and NVIDIA drivers in Ubuntu

One of the first questions Linux users often ask, after installing their distro of choice, is “How do I install Nvidia drivers?” Although the process has been hit and miss in the past, one of the best solutions that I have come across is Envy for the Ubuntu distribution.I'm interested to see this package working as Ubuntu is my main Linux box (beside Suse 10 on my NAT). I will give Envy a try and come back on this item!

Netvibes

A new tool at least according to my knowledge. Very interesting indeed: all your RSS feeds, blogmarks, bookmarks (from your local IE or Fireox installation), weather forecast, webnotes, Gmail and POP3/IMAP mail accounts and much more can be showed on one page with a max of four colums.
This is realy an Ajax application as you can drag and replace the different modules over and back so that it suits your needs!
Have a look to Netvibes!!.
Trilling!
