Pitty that Posterous is resizing the image so that the full content is not visible.Perhaps there is a workarounf I don't know yet. I also find it not so extra ordinary when you are looking into the edit options. Perhaps writing this in a HTML editor and than copy and paste could help.

Comment: I have use once a CSS grid generator: esp. the site Trend-Events is using this grid generator where the div's are populated with classes equals spans, which have a width from maximum 24 and are set up into the accompagnied CSS. It's a vary handy and correct way to set up your page and make sure all the following content is always placed in the same way. That way your page has a constant and identical way of presenting the blocks of your pages!

Woldring Porselein

De nieuwste site van Woldring Porselein bevat hele mooie dingen die als je zou kopen, kan 'koesteren' en naar kijken omdat ze zo mooi zijn! Tijdloze dingen die je koopt en soms/vaak gebruikt en met wat voorzichtigheid zijn zelfs aan je kinderen kan overgeven. Zelf heb ik zo wat porselein thuis staan die zeker meer dan 50 jaar oud is en nog steeds wondermooi is om naar te kijken. Gebruiken doe ik het niet. zoals zo vaak ben je op een sentimentele basis gehecht aan deze oude dingen: als ze dan ook nog mooi zijn..

Deze site laat alle modellen zien die zij in huis hebben en waarvan je de afbeeldingen netjes kunt bekijken. Je kan ze zelf bestellen ;-)!

Microsoft Popfly

In het tijdschrift NetOpus stond een artikel over DevDays 2008 in de RAI. Een interessant onderdeel van dit artikel gaat over Popfly, een MS tool die niet programmeurs toelaat applicaties te ontwikkelen gebaseerd op beschikbaree "mashups" of black boxen.

Zo kan je deze bijvoorbeeld bekijken die ik zelf op een wip heb klaargemaakt.
De code achter zo een "mashup" blocks is blijkbaar Javascript.
Zo is de user input blok code aangepast om de input vraag in het nederlands te bekomen.

Meteen is dit een ideaal platform om Javascript (opnieuw) te leren gebruiken. Bovendien is popfly geïntegreerd in Visual Web Developer 2008.

Gelijk heb ik ook eens een webpagina aangemaakt met deze tool.



Een niet onbelangrijke opmerking is dat Popfly best in IE gebruikt wordt. Bij het maken van een webpagina in Firefox werkte een groot deel van de buttons niet!

Adobe and Apollo

There is a nice Apollo application called Finetune Desktop and related with Finetune.com.
You can create your own playlist (and you should to continue and listen to your own playlist) with around 40 numbers. You can share your playlist with other people or listen to other people there playlist.
Have a 'listen' to TheWeb's playlist or on the Wii Finetune Player.
Finally you can run the embedded Flash movie by clicking on the image beneath. Nice tool.

Adobe Releases Alpha of Apollo

Adobe Systems has announced the first public alpha release of Apollo, its cross-operating system run-time for Web developers. Apollo is the code name for Adobe's development system that enables Web developers to leverage their existing skills in Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, and AJAX, to build and deploy RIAs on the desktop.

You can also find some nice manual, which is needed I think to start with!

And there is a nice demo what eBay is doing with Apollo today.
