Viking Mobile on his way to 100.000 members!

Vandaag is een memorabele dag! Mobile Vikings heeft de kaap van 75.000 Vikings
bereikt.

En nog steeds hebben ze deze groei te danken aan de bestaande abonnees, want
69% van onze nieuwe leden zijn door hen aangebracht.

Zoals jullie je misschien nog herinneren, deed Mobile Vikings op 19 september,
toen ze onze 50.000ste Viking vierden, een belofte:

Halen we 100.000 leden voor 30 juni 2012 dan kan je als Viking elke
dag een uur lang gratis naar andere Vikings telefoneren.

Hoe het er nu naar uitziet, halen zedie kaap. Met gemak. Land in
zicht, harr harr hurray!

Il Piato d'Oro Maasmechelen. Dat verschillende mensen soms een andere invulling geven aan hetzelfde begrip blijkt alweer met de term 'bien cuit'. Het restaurant begreep dat vlees rauw moest zijn. Twee couvers met identiek zelfde bestelling allebei retour keuken, dixit microgolf. En nog geen woord van excuses, ben je gek.

Restorante Il Diamante

Opening van het nieuwe Italiaanse restaurant Il Diamante te Maasmechelen. Leuke openigsgelegenheid met een uitgebreide keuze aan verschillende menu's. Als dit straks de gangbare menu's gaan worden ziet het er goed uit.

LOI student portaal alweer off line (Leidse Onderwijs Instellingen)

LOI (Leidse Onderwijs Instellingen) hebben een webapplicatie waar je als student je hele cursus en opleidingstraject kan volgen. Op 11/11/2010 - een nationationale feestdag in België en dus uitermate geschikt om wat eventuele achterstand op te halen, speelde ze het klaar op 's morgen om 08h16 te mailen dat hun server diezelfde dag out zou zijn wegens onderhoud! Fijne tijdsplanning.

Nu zijn ze wéér off line en geen enkele manier om te achterhalen wat, waar, wanneer! Wat een rommeltje daar bij het LOI. Dan geef mij maar de OU: die mensen dragen wat beter zorg voor hun studenten.

When occupied with my study it is also hard to traack time on a specific subject. Certainly when you get easye distracted by other things: or in the course text or by subject who come in suddenly (I need to know more about that!) or by a certain web link you found while surfing the course pages on the web! Or when dooing development or webdesign it's important to have some ideas about your time consumption.

I do toke notes of my time, but you have to write it down, keep it on a central place depending on the subject,... In one word: it' shell to do it right.

I've found a free webapplicationtool now, who is doing fine for what I was looking for. Just create an account an hup you're on track. There is no need to get something installed on your PC: just one web address!

Revamping Posterous

Revamping Posterous:

means that I've logged in again after some time and even added some new services. Among them: Friendfeed, Facebook Page, My Wordpress Blog, Flickr

I now have quit a huge and different streams where i do push all my  blogpost to and this from only one place: posterous.com.

This is just to see if al is working smoothly :-). Let's have a look.
